Reservation Procedure and Cancellation Policy for Hillcrest Bed and Breakfast in Eyemouth, Scottish Borders
Deposits – To secure a booking at Hillcrest Bed & Breakfast a credit/debit card details, along with full address including postcode and contact telephone number are required. No charge will be taken before arrival.
All room charges to be paid on departure in full - we accept cash, Maestro, Debit Mastercard, Delta, Electron, JCB, Mastercard, Solo and Visa. Please note that all credit card payments carry a surcharge of £5 per transaction.
Full payment is required one month prior to arrival if payment is by bank transfer.
Cancellation
Hillcrest Bed and Breakfast can be clearly affected by cancellations and as such we would ask for your understanding and consideration of our policy.
If a guest requires to cancel a reservation for accommodation,  for any reason they must notify the proprietors of the guest house by telephone, confirm it in writing and be acknowledged by us before any action can be taken. In the event of a booking cancellation, we will always do our utmost to re-let the room(s).
The full charge of your booking will be due if cancellation is within 7 days of arrival, (less any revenue from re-letting), except the period from April to September, when we have a 14 day cancellation policy.
A no-show will be charged in full. Earlier than scheduled departures from our bed and breakfast in Eyemouth are handled as a cancellation and the same policy applies.
Breakages
The guest(s) of the b & b will be responsible for the repair or replacement of any breakages, loss or damage and shall leave the room in a clean, neat and tidy condition.
No responsibility is accepted by the proprietors or any person living or working at Hillcrest Guest House for any loss, damage or injury to person or property (including cars, accessories, equipment or contents) whilst within the confines of Hillcrest Bed and Breakfast or whilst the guest or any member of his/her party is engaged in any activity or any illness arising from any cause whatsoever.
The proprietors believe that the information on this website is correct but cannot accept responsibility for errors or misunderstandings. To allow for a policy of continuing improvement of facilities, the proprietor reserve the right to alter or amend the amenities or facilities offered.
